Reviews and Ratings
Dragon Peaks Resort is a lovely getaway nestled in the beautiful central Drakensberg. The accommodations are consistently clean and well-serviced, and the grounds are stunning, making it an excellent value for a family retreat. While the activities for kids could be expanded, and an upgrade to the bathrooms would be beneficial, the overall experience is peaceful and rejuvenating.
I had a great time at Dragon Peaks Mountain Resort! The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by the beautiful Drakensberg mountains. The campsites are well-maintained, and the staff is incredibly friendly. However, we faced a few issues in our accommodation, such as the toilet running and the TV malfunctioning, which made our stay less than perfect. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for nature lovers and families.
I had a mixed experience at the resort. The setting is lovely, with plenty of outdoor activities for kids, but the cottage felt a bit cramped for a group and the kitchen could use an upgrade. However, I appreciated the spaciousness of the rooms in the other buildings and the facility's convenient braai options made things easier.
Our stay at Dragon Peaks Mountain Resort was a mixed bag. On one hand, it offered beautiful scenery and wonderful amenities for outdoor activities, but we had some significant issues with service and maintenance. While the camping sites were nicely set up, there were serious drawbacks that impacted our experience, particularly regarding cleanliness and the attention to detail needed in upkeep.
We had a wonderful time at the resort, making it a perfect spot for families. The amenities catered well to the kids, and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere despite the busy weekend. However, the self-catering unit was a bit dated and could use some upgrades. Overall, it was great value for money and a lovely retreat.
